


Jim has served as a Distinguished Service Professor of Healthcare & Biotechnology Management and Senior Director of Healthcare and Biotechnology Programs at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College, as well as President and CEO of The Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, a public-private economic development organization and venture fund owned by Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. Jim is a certified hypnotherapist (CHT) and has developed the NeuroAcceleration™ System, a change management tool, to help groups in times of transition. Jim, in his role as an innovation leader, has also been ask to serve on several advisory boards. He also has extensive experience with life science start-up ventures, and is active on multiple Boards of Directors. Jim is an accomplished Fortune 20-level executive with companies such as Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson, and McKesson.
